Very good transparency. Good representativeness of the data sets (GWP). Use of best science to establish the characterization factors (GWP). Broadly accepted by stakeholders. However, the 100 years perspective in the model do not capture the total impact of the persistent substances with a long lifetime.

Intended applications Provide globally applicable baseline impact factors for the impact category "Climate change" (midpoint level).
